Self Care Counseling was founded in 2019 as a passion project to be able to provide compassionate, culturally competent, and clinically driven care to our beautifully diverse population provided by therapists who understand your needs. Â

We believe that access to mental health care is integral to helping you flourish in every aspect of your life. Â We accept most major insurances and have a sliding-scale. Â Our therapists offer services in various languages. We attract therapists from diverse backgrounds who have experience in community mental health; their heart is in their work.

Our therapists use a variety of treatment approaches to meet your needs with all our therapists having experience in treating trauma. Some of the treatment models used: art therapy, attachment based, EMDR, Gottman Method, DBT, play therapy, short term (solution focused therapy), cognitive behavioral therapy, and various mindfulness therapies to name a few.
