Therapist
After struggling with mental health and relationship issues in my own family for several years, it was my experience with my first therapist that set me on the path of personal healing and discovery which ultimately led to me becoming a therapist. Therapy is a journey of practice, reflection, and growth that I believe we all can benefit from. Having someone to motivate, accompany, and guide you along the way can make such a difference. It would be an honor to be that person for you.
In my therapy work, I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method as my primary approaches. I have trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Structural Family therapy, and I am Gottman Method Level 2 certified.
Before starting in private practice, I worked as a school-based therapist for 3 years in the San Gabriel Valley. I am grateful to continue to have the opportunity to work with children, teens, individual adults, couples, and families. My professional goal is to continue to specialize in couple’s therapy, anxiety, depression, phase of life issues, stress reduction, anger management, and recovery from alcohol and substance abuse. My personal self-care and hobbies include evening walks, hiking, painting, movies, board games, and reading.
