Therapist
My name is Edward Babayan, and I practice as an LMFT. Over the last 9 years, I’ve worked with adolescents and young adults in school settings, couples seeking increased intimacy and vulnerability, as well as with diverse and varied adults hoping to address challenges with anxiety, depression, identity and overall purpose.
My goal is to build genuine, and non-hierarchical relationships with the people I serve. The relationships act as the source of experimentation and discovery. Enabling individuals to voice their desires, fears and vulnerabilities. If you’ve ever felt unable to cope with insecurities and negative self-talk, we can break down those internal messages and rewrite your story to one that more fully captures who you truly are. If you’ve been stuck in malaise and unfulfilling relationships with yourself and others, we can explore the barriers that may be keeping you from more joy and pleasurable connections in your life. If you feel like your life is consumed by anxiety, unease and restlessness, we can utilize mindfulness practices to discover how to find more peace in your everyday experience of yourself. I hope to provide a simple and yet expansive experience of how to relearn to be honest with one’s self and with others, in a constructive and passionate way.
Hoping that this first step is one that will lead to more authentic living, Presence and Joy.
