Therapist
My name is Donn and I am a Clinical Social Worker. I have been working in the mental health field for the past 17 years in various community and private settings as well as in state facilities. As a therapist, it has been a joy to have helped guide clients through challenges and overcome obstacles to become their best selves
In welcoming you to therapy, I invite you to come as you are. Every individual is recognized as unique and each deserves to be treated as such. You are invited to tell me what has worked for you in the past, or if new to treatment, what you would like to get out of therapy. The time spent together is yours to utilize how you would like. I will be there with you on your healing journey to listen, provide feedback, support and encourage. No issue is too big or small, too black or white, or too embarrassing. We will tackle the concerns with honesty, integrity, respect, without judgment, and in many cases, with humor.
Feel free to arrive with a carry-on or a full set of luggage to unpack. We may not get to everything in one session, but we will be able to address the items that have the most impact on stability and daily functioning. The goal is to be able to have you leave the session with a sense that something has been addressed and that you can go on with your day feeling more – capable, free, and in touch with your authentic self.

Specialties: Anger Management, Anxiety, Depression, LGBTQ+ Affirming, Life Transitions, Men’s Issues, Relationship Issues, Self-Esteem, Trauma and PTSD
Treatment Approach: In my work, I take a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, drawing from attachment-focused, and psychodynamic perspectives while incorporating practical skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy DBT and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT. I am also trained in Mindfulness-Based EMDR, which I use to help clients process and move through painful experiences at a pace that feels safe. My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth—I aim to create a space when clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
Certifications/Training: Financial Social Work, EMDR
Personal Interest:Â When I am not providing therapy, you can find me spending time with family and friends enjoying the LA area. I am no stranger to a pop-up shop and search for great local food when possible.
For me, life is not always about work and play (or my favorite bakery); It is an all-inclusive balancing act that provides a sense of personal growth, grounding and direction that allows me to be my best for those whose paths I cross.Â
